Your body a canvas of expression?

I'm all for the option of tattoos on one's body but when does it get tacky? With little originality these days it's absolutely grotesque when I see someone walking down the street with a generic butterfly or a Nicole Richie inspired rosary on their foot or angel wings on their back.

I finally decided on a tattoo for myself and shared the idea with some friends... Within several weeks my friend calls me to share the great news! Her new tattoo... To my surprise, it was none other than the tattoo I told her I wanted just a couple weeks earlier! What a shock. I didn't know whether to feel complimented or angry... Especially angry cause there is no way I'm going to get the tattoo now since she got it first! Ugh.

How do you feel about authenticity? Would you feel comfortable walking around with an extremely fake Birkin bag in the middle of the Champs Elysees? I think not. Give your new wife your ex fiancee's ring? (yes I'm calling you out Nick Cannon) Hells no.

So why would you put someone else's design on your body?

I'd be angered. Tattoos are supposed to be an expression of individuality. Unless you're one for off-the-wall designs, tattoos are unique to a person.
